MOM'S ON STRIKE

Today as we were loading into the car, my hubby asked if I could grab Zach's shoes. No big deal I was headed downstairs to get mine anyway. Then he asks if I could grab his shoes...which was soon followed by our son's request for his chapstick. I, who already had Zach's drink and blanket in hand, decided that I am on strike. Each is now officially responsible for remembering their own things. Mom is done, at least for now. :)

The Fair's in Town

This evening we visited the county fair...I mean who could miss the "roller coasters" (aka: carnival rides). Every time we drove passed the fair grounds the "roller coasters" were all the rage for our cute little boy. Fortunately the tractors (though a bit scary up close) and animals were pretty cool too. We are headed back tomorrow. Here are some shots from today!

Eagle Eye--Zach

This afternoon Zach and I went for a drive. I must admit, my motive was mostly to make nap time easier. Anyways, we decided to drive by Zach's "Pemple" and he spotted it when we were blocks away. I think the only thing you could see was the top of one side! He is pretty quick. I am grateful we have a nice temple close by and it is fun to see Zach get excited about it. I pray that he will always be that enthusiastic about the temple.
