I Married an Electrician

My birthday came early this year. Peter asked me what I would like, and I suggested a light near my side of the bed. Well shortly after I made the request, he had an epiphany. He would cut holes in our walls and ceiling, and in their place add lights and switches. It was pretty fun to watch. Zach even learned how to climb over the child gate, just so he could be in on the action. Here are the results:

"You can't rush art." --The Cleaner from Toy Story II

There is one thing that I've definitely learned about artists, if you don't rush them, they'll produce pretty cool stuff. This castle was about two years in the making and its finally been dubbed, finished! I always wanted cool murals on my bedroom walls, I only got as far as putting posters on my walls. This is, in my opinion, a wonderful addition to our home. It really makes Zach's room look cool, I'm sure he'll have lots of fun with it.

Now all we need is a cotton candy machine…

This last week I updated our home’s efficiency. So, due to our laziness, I had Peter install a retractable clothesline in our kitchen. We always seem to collect Zach’s “to-be-scrubbed” clothes there, and I figured if we actually had a place to let them dry the scrubbing might happen. It has worked out pretty well despite the “ghettoizing” of our home. So thank you Peter, for making things a little more efficient for us.

P.S. can you believe that “ghettoizing” is a real word according to Word.
